Awesome wedding flower ideas.

I found this book very inspiring. The pictures are very well done. My granddaughter and I found so many fantastic ideas for wedding bouquets and the other wedding flowers. While the book doesn't go into step-by-step detail on how to create the bouquets, it does give good, general instructions on how to create the bouquets for someone who is familiar with the process of creating hand-held bouquets. The book gives several money-saving tips for making the bouquets by substituting more expensive flowers with less expensive flowers when making the bouquets. If nothing else, the book is a fantastic resource for floral designs for wedding flowers.

I bought several "how to" books in order to create flowers for my daughter's wedding. This book is clear and easy to understand. Of the several books I bought this one was used most often. Even though I designed all her flowers well ahead of time from silk flowers, we were able to build off the designs in this book. If you only buy one book - it should be this one!

I have this whole series of books and they have helped me get through Nursing school. They outline everything in neat order without the extra fluff and the questions have rationales for why each answer is right OR wrong. It's all about passing the tests and these books help.

Very good book to have. Especially if you're having problems with "application" type questions on your tests. It comes with a CD too!. also full of questions, math questions as well..
You will actually learn a lot when you read the rationales. It gives you the reason why the answer is right or wrong. However, I was also expecting the book to have a generalized description of the most common drugs, but it doesn't. It is just full of questions, this will help you with your tests while in nursing school.

Another Heart Revealing Book

Julie thank you for listening to God and being faithful to obey His calling. God's heart truly is revealed here in this book. God's Words in His Word are life and breath to us through His Spirit. For so long I have skimmed over His Word seeking to satisfy another motive other than listening to each word and genuinely desiring to please only Him.
I have read this twice and will probably keep on my desk for refreshment as He leads.

One of the most profound books I have ever read. Julia Blum offers a unique and penetrating look into the meaning of suffering and redemption that I've read nowhere else. The revelation she has received is mind-boggling and her ability to translate what God has shown her into a readable, understandable and thought-provoking book is amazing. Every Jew and every Christian should read this book and ponder its truths. Just amazing!
I highly recommend it.

In this intensely engaging book, Julia Blum takes us on a journey into the heart of God and his love for the Jewish people, through a penetrating look into familiar Bible narratives, including Job, Joseph and Lazarus. Julia gives us insights into how to comprehend God’s undying love for the Jewish people, in the light of the monumental suffering they have endured over the centuries. Why has He been silent when such persecution, slander and suffering have been heaped upon his own people? Is it because they deserved it, or is there another answer?
This book must be read with the heart. It’s a book that tore at my heart, and reduced me to tears. I believe every Christian needs to read this book so we can begin to understand the heart of God for Israel – especially in the days in which we live. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Amy Christine Brown received her PhD from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1986 in the field of Human Nutrition and Foods. She has been a college professor and a registered dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics since 1986. Dr. Brown currently teaches at the University of Hawaii's John A. Burns School of Medicine in the Department of Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Her research interests are in the area of bioactive plant substances beneficial to health and medical nutrition therapy. Some of the studies she has conducted include "Diet and Crohn's disease," "Potentially harmful herbal supplements," "Kava beverage consumption and the effect on liver function tests," and "The effectiveness of kukui nut oil in treating psoriasis." Save money, look for an older edition

I have compared this edition side by side with the 4th edition, and the only update my classmates and I found is the addition of "monk fruit" under alternative sweeteners. Otherwise the paragraphs and charts/graphs are verbatim, with some minimal rearranging. As of now, you can rent the older edition for less than half, so save some money and consider an older edition.

Overall, the book is nothing exciting. All black and white photographs except for a few pages in the centerfold. The text itself is boring and repetitive, but it was required for my course.
